It allows users of these PC's to conveniently capture their own videos to MPEG1 or MPEG2 files, using the hardware capabilities of their PC. The captured files can be played back from the hard drive or authored to DVD, SVCD or VCD via the user's favorite 3rd party authoring tool. Snappy Deluxe
Snappy Deluxe is the simplest way to archive all your analog videos to DVD, SVCD or VCD. It literally takes "zero-button click" to do so. Launch the software, connect your video player (camcorder, VCR, LaserDisc player, etc.) to the Snappy Deluxe USB device, and then merely press play on the video player and the Snappy Deluxe software automatically starts capturing your videos and burning them to blank discs when you insert one. The software smartly detects the presence or absence of video content and only records valid videos. When using rewritable discs, you can even append more content to a disc that already holds some and a new menu is created to give easy access to each captured content. The Snappy Deluxe USB device does not require any power supply. Just plug it to a USB port on your computer and it's ready to go.
